Riedewald doesnt look like he has been sitting about .looks as fit as a flea . Hope his game has improved as much as his figure .

Good workout that by the looks of it , those who stayed at home have probably had the best of it

Wilf was back to his old scrappy self which didn't look good. Hopefully it was just the heat getting to him. CD looked good again and really looks forward every time he gets the ball..linked well with Wilf and Eze.

Watching every game live on TV doesn't come close to the real thing..... COYP

Especially as they booed him every time he touched the ball, that’s typical of Gillingham meat heads though, wet themselves with excitement because they’re playing a premier league team in a friendly, then boo their best player

Just as the second half was starting a kid in the crowd on that side of the pitch was asking Wilf for his shirt, you could here Wilf saying to him, see me after.

It was a nice touch.

Love him or hate him, Wilf is always great value for money. He got fouled, he fouled, got involved in an altercation, won a penalty and scored two goals.

We made hard work of it in the second half but at least Wilf saved the day.

The team went through the motions it seemed loads of possession, but quiet honestly it was only Wilf that made it happen in their box. And surely we weren’t there to work on our defending .
Hard to know what to make of these games at times, outside of fitness value.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.
