Is the general view that we’re going for both Richards and Colwill?
This would be a surprise to me unless we were considering moving to a back 3.
Anderson and Guehi are established as first choice and I’d be surprised if two highly regarded young defenders would be prepared to join to play second fiddle.
I think it’s more likely that it would be either/or one of the two.

Or 3 at the back and the 4 of them (with Tomkins as back up) will be told to back their own ability and fight for the 3 places!

Has he signed yet?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I'd be surprised if we're going for both as it'd be hard to convince either of regular playing time even with 3 at the back. Saying that though I wouldn't be against bringing them both in.

Maybe he’d be considered at right back?

Richards is two footed and can play anywhere across the back four, i can see him as right back, and slipping into a 3 if needed, similar to Ward last season, Mitchell joining the midfield, if AWB signs on loan then Richards LB and AWB joining the midfield.

If we are seriously interested in Richards, the AWB rumours can be put to bed imo

According to 'washing powder', yes, done deal 5yrs.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

My thinking too, I hope so.

Somewhat excited or at the very least optimistic about by this

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

No, my mate Dazza, said Richards was a done deal, and AWB was just a "could"

Good afternoon everyone, hope you’re all doing well. A couple of Palace supporters messaged me asking for a video on Chris Richards and I wanted to share it here for those of you interested. A hell of a talent who Bayern supporters are quite upset to be losing (which normally isn’t the case with their outgoings like Omar Richards and Marc Roca, who’ll both also be playing in the PL next season). As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts and am happy to answer any questions you may have.

PS: Really enjoyed watching Ebiowei in that first half vs United, will be sure to do a breakdown on him too later this week.
