Newsnow is mostly clickbait rumour these days, until a deal is official, then EVERYONE jumps on the band wagon.

Journalists, good and bad, tend to post on twitter, sometimes with a clickbait link to their article, sometimes not. Many of these journo's are leeching off each other's work too, which means the rumour could have come from one unreliable source, hence the inaccuracy.
