Certainly agree if it sorts out the feckless and tax avoiders.
Can’t see that under any of the others though so may as well stick to what we have.

A smiley face is normally an agreement so a blue rosette is the order of the day.

we are back to the 1930's Folks.

- the spectre of inflation
- military despots marching across Europe

- inside every country, the politics abandoning the middle-ground and polarizing into hard Left and hard Right
- War

- stock market looking jittery

I know, but let's focus on the negatives.

I'm not sure in what way Marine Le Pen is far right?

I think you could argue that of her father but their politics are very different. Another subtlety that's lost in most media coverage.

The left and media (same thing) want to gaslight the young and/or feeble minded into thinking that, exactly what the mainstream right use to openly think thirty years ago is actually far right today.

Unfortunately for many reasons they succeeded.

However, in France, the positive thing is that most of Le Pen's voters are the young.....they see the future that social and neo liberalism offers them and have rejected it.

I don't like to say it but the main problem are the boomers....holding onto the myths of 'I have a dream'.

Part of that has been used to destroy the ladder for their youth....the poorer versions of them anyway.

I admire your mission ASCPFC but one man is not enough!

I'm not one for hats, more of a tiara man myself.

I cant say I blame the other HOLers. "French politics" is a title that doesn't draw flies. Perhaps "Brigitte Bardot's knickers". We would already be on page 200...

Link?

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.
