I'd agree with you..... suspect they will be looking to turn out a good performance in front of the home fans to take away the bitter taste of that defeat and all that followed.
Edited by becky (21 May 2022 12.07pm) Sadly, I am not able to make the game tomorrow so have gifted ST to other family members. I do sincerely, sincerely hope however that a very loud and emphatic rendition of 'Super Pat Vieira', 'Vieira's red and blue army' or what have you echoes around Selhurst Park if not to begin with than at stages during the game. I was bitterly disappointed and angry this week not just at Everton but at our own performance/management etc too. However, as expressed before, it for me is requisite of a true fan but should not now distract from what at the very least has been a 'promising' season if nothing else. I hope we back and show our appreciation to those young men out there, our Management team on the sidelines and go out if not on a high, with a real sense of unity and energy. COYP!!!! CPFC!!!! RedBlueArmy!!! SE25!!!!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Won't be able to have a go at Pogba either. Just grateful we are not Burnley or Leeds. Hoping for a win, it has an end of term feel about it though. Rak-Saki score a goal. COYP

Unfortunately the Thursday night debacle will have had a major downer effect on the players and management. I think their heads and hearts won’t be in it although they will go through the motions. Manure on the other hand will be desperate to show they are not all bad in front of their new management. Regrettably I can only see a loss. COYP I think that if the game had been against Southampton, or Villa or someone like that then you may have been right. However, I hope that it being Man Utd that we are playing then maybe that will be enough to motivate the players to turn in an inspired performance.

I think that's a very fair and valid rationalisation. If it were me however, and I do not feel ridiculous in suggesting it could be a possibility, I'd be motivated by both a hatred of United and a desperate need to neutralise any emotion left over from Thursday. They are grown men after all, and being rustled out of that Scouse scum hole after their antics and losing in such a demeaning way I would like to think there should be some testosterone fueled fire in the belly for one last game. I really hope you are right nothing would give us fans more pleasure than to see off Manure and send us into the transfer window in great heart.COYP

The match official will be Martin Atkinson, VAR is Peter Bankes. I envisage our starting 11 to be . . . Guaita

Guaita
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

Tomkins hasn't been fit enough to be on the bench, so doubt he'll be available. Suggest Andersen's partner at the back will be one of Kouyate, Kelly or Ward. Both Adamarola and Rak-Sakyi are likely to get some game time tomorrow IMO.
