I just think Villa's form is better than ours and they have goal scorers in their team and they are at home. 2-0 Villa

Not a bad shout, I’m inclined to say.

However, in an uncharacteristic show of optimism, I’m going to say 1-2 Palace.
Feel like pressure is off now and may just be one of those days!

Nonetheless, COYP!!!!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I'm concerned that Liverpool might feel deflated after their title bid is looking nearly over. A Villa win tomorrow wouldn't be unthinkable and that would make Sunday's game very tough with them in the driving seat in terms of top ten.

Wolves, West Ham and Aston villa are not guaranteed 7 points for Man City, they couldn't beat us, even score, if Liverpool win 4-0 they go back top of the league

IMO they were a little lucky at our place so with their gloss slightly less shiny a few months later and our reputation improving by the week we might get an honest ref. They may fight a bit more for the places (and the extra money). 1-2 for me.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

They seemed quite committed last night, but it was against Liverpool, or the potential champions, as one of the pundits said last night.
We played well against Liverpool and got the same result as Villa.

I'm going for a draw, think we will end our clean-sheet run...1-1

I am normally an optimistic person but I honestly don't see us getting much from our last 3 games.

Our away form has not been scintillating

Villa are the better all round attacking team with several goal scorers.

Everton may still be fighting against relegation and will be 100% committed as against Chelsea and Leicester.

Home advantage will help against United but surely they will be motivated not to repeat their abysmal performance against Brighton.

Our main hope is utter demoralisation will count against them.

It's being so cheerful that keeps me going !

??? We've conceded in our last 3 away games.

Chris Cavvanagh is Ref, Martin Atkinson is 4th Official & David Coote is VAR

The question may well come down to whether Villa can raise themselves to the same levels as last night. When they beat us earlier in the season they were a bunch of timewasters and they ruined the game with niggly fouls, if memory serves me correct. Having said that, I think this game will be an open affair as neither side has much to play for. I'm going to go for 2-2. Hopefully Rak-Sakyi might get some minutes as reward for his efforts for the U23s.

Villa are a horrible team under Gerrard and they will spend a lot of time trying to stop the flow of the game with niggly fouls and diving. 2 very evenly matched teams on paper so it will come down to who takes their chances.

I wouldn’t be expecting an end of season type game from this one as both teams want top 10.

2 nil Palace
