Don't know the guy and I wish him the best because whoever is in charge has a massive job on there hands. Croydon I'm so sad to say is a absolute rotting apple that needs sorting out very quickly!!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

It's an utterly irrelevant post. Croydon is utterly f***ed. Run by central Government and will be for years to come.

Just another level of bulls***. Croydon should not even have bothered with elections and its obviously clear they cannot even manage to count the votes like everybody else.

Have they declared yet?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

BBC says not. I know there is a recount going on but Croydon is the last borough in England to declare. Not a very good advert for their competency.

A recount? Seriously? the vote was Thursday, THREE days ago, even a GE doesn't take THAT long. God help the poor people(& CP) that live in the borough.

Labour lost control of Croydon Council and the authority is now under no overall control. The Labour Party won 34 seats, while the Conservative Party won 32 seats, Liberal Democrats won one and the Green Party won two seats.

It is the first time every the Greens have won seats on Croydon Council and the party's Ria Patel and Esther Sutton will join Labour councillor Chris Clark to represent the Fairfield Ward. Ria, who is Croydon's first non-binary councillor and will be the youngest on the council said: "It shows that the Green vote is on the rise and that people want change."

As I voter I would be concerned if someone can't decide whether they are male or female that suggest they are not very good at decision making which is a minimum requirement for any politician.

Look at her Twitter feed. In no specific order
Trans Rights.
Immigrants (being hard done by)
LGBTQI
Diversity
Conversion Therapy Ban
BLM ETC.
No one disputes that these are important issues, but hardly addressing every day problems that most of her/she's constituents are more concerned about.
