Very happy about this if it goes through. Certainly looks like he'll fit in especially with our recent history of skillful and exciting wingers.

Wonder what Derby fans will make of this? Basically taking their best two young prospects for pittance. Personally I’d be delighted for him to join palace.

If this story is true, then another shrewd piece of business from Dougie and Co.

Obviously whilst having every sympathy for Derby & their fans with their current predicament but we ourselves dont have to remember too far back when we were in a similar situation with vultures circling nabbing our best players knowing that we had to sell to pay debts / stay afloat.

It'll be interesting to see where he fits into the club's plans, as we will have Olise, Ayew, Ebiowei and Rak-Sakyi all competing for one spot. Has a bit of the Antonio about him, being a bit bulkier than traditional modern wingers with a good turn of pace.

It's cr@p for Derby but if it wasn't us it would have been someone else.

I read somewhere a couple weeks ago that, besides being a very exciting prospect, this lad has a really fantastic attitude and willingness to work hard, learn and improve.

Probably won’t grab the transfer centre headlines but from what I’ve seen and read I think this could be an extremely shrewd signing.

If we can secure him it’ll be a brilliant addition.

The big question now is do we play him left, right or is it Malcolm in the Middle?

Have to say, was reading this morning all the paper talk about him turning down UTD to sign for us.

I appreciate UTD are a bit of a mess right now, but it's stuff like this which warms my heart about "how far have Palace come", that a bright young talent would turn down a crack at UTD to sign for us and play for PV.

Onwards and upwards!

I'm excited for him to be coming here but the usual 'We've just signed the next Cristiano/Messi et al' talk always worries me slightly. Same thing with JRS. He may very well end up out of contract at Charlton in a few years time! I sincerely hope not of course.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I think it also shows a lot about the boy himself. That he is making sensible decisions for the sake of his career.

We want players like that, who are hungry to play and improve. Not ones that area happy to join a toxic club with limited chance of playing.

I think a lot of posters think Ebiowei is ready for the first team in the Premiership whereas I don't think he's there yet.

I think he's been obtained for the first team/23s squad but I don't think he will be a regular and more of a bench next season.
