The game/result last night was the best thing we could have hoped for:

- tired from travelling
- knackered after chasing the game for 120 mins
- mentally shot after thinking they were going to win only to lose it AET

They’re there for the taking. 2-1 Palace.

Not sure I fully agree. Last chance for silverware this season for them. Tuchel will throw his best team at us and try to use last night's effort to his advantage. Worried nerves will also play a part. We looked really nervous against Everton in the opening minutes. If we start like that a better team will put us to bed in the first 20 mins. My head is saying 2-0 to them, early goal and another mid second half. My heart is going for a nerve wracking 2-1 to us. COYP !!

Without Gallagher, and probably Olise, it is hard to see us winning when missing two of our best players even against a battle-weary Chelsea.

But, usually, class tells in the end and they have more of it - in spades.

An improvement on the two 0-3 league defeats will be progress and if we put up a spirited performance maybe, just maybe, we could spring a surprise.

Given all of the above I still believe we will win 1-0 or 2-1

I concur with these sentiments.
I am not expecting us to reach the final.

Not disagreeing as such, but we didn't have Ian Wright available against Liverpool in 1990....

The pressure is far greater on them. Palace team will be well rested. Form has been good, hiccup at Leicester apart. Brentford smashed 'em. Wilf may put on a show.

The ONLY fly in the ointment is that they are the better team.

Obviously we're huge outsiders but comparisons can be drawn to the Villa park semi v the Bin dippers
We win when least expected to!

Defend like lions & spring some lightening fast counter attacks & JP or Eze will bang them home
My personal perfect scenario would be Tekkers to get the winner!

To shut up the haters in my block lolc

Coyp!!

They'll be tired but 100% up for making the final IMHO, based on last nights result. To that end, I can't see anything other than an accomplished 0-2 win for Chelsea.

Just enjoy the day out and anything else is a bonus eh!

Palace win 11-10 on penalties. Guaita with the winner after Keppa misses.

All this after a 4-4 draw.

Think I would have a heart attack and then not be there for the final. 100% worth it
