Why the constant moaning about it ? It's not hard to understand the clubs with the biggest following will get the most media attention, it would be like a British champion moaning about not getting the same media attention as tyson fury. People care as much about palace as we care about Norwich or Burnley. I think we all accept that they favour the big clubs, what we find hard to accept is not getting any credit when we put one over on one of the big shots. It’s all about their poor performance and hardly any credit for us. Edited by monkey (05 Apr 2022 12.46pm)

Great floated free kick from Gallagher, Anderson, battling bravely gets a head on it, Mateta, in exactly the right place, nods it in. If Man Utd had scored that, Rooney would be celebrating the 'sheer class.' Palace do it, it's lucky. Rooney's a f***ing w***er anyway. Except when he's f***ing grandmothers.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

From BBC comments on the match report page. "The great thing about the Premier league is that the smaller clubs have a chance to upset the big boys, but Arsenal just couldn't manage it tonight".

But when you play like we played you get that luck

People care as much about palace as we care about Norwich or Burnley. Absolutely correct. The media gives its customers what they want whether you're left wing, right wing or a supporter of a big club. Regional and local media are loyal to their local clubs as that is who their readers and audiences support. But, regional media is in decline and, by definition, only had a limited reach. I was surrounded by Gooners fans crying into their beer the other night in a pub in Penzance. I was the only Eagle there, although I have met two other Palace fans in the town in the past. So, clearly, the Arse have a much greater national and international reach than Palace and this will be reflected in their coverage by the national broadcast and printed media. It's infuriating as a Palace fan but inevitable. However, as we grow as a club so will our media. How much more coverage do we now get than Charlton and Millwall?

In this case , Gallagher meant to hang that ball on the back post. Not luck. Andersen, meant to get on the end of it, he did , the fact was it may have got a touch , he may have closed his eyes, but he was trying to get it ,he did. That’s not luck it’s the kind of result players work hard to create. Rooney, would know full well that was worked for. But he had to earn his fee. Even the second goal had to be due to an Arsenal player not quiet on the job. It played a part, but the pass was perfect ,the reaction from Ayew, was perfect, and his finish was perfect.

Cos he was, at heart, a lout.
