Such good news for him, so well deserved.

From the club's perspective, good to have half our defence get some game time at Wembley prior to the Semi. Hopefully shake off some of the jitters.

I get this strange feeling that Palace have entered the big time.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Congratulations Tyrick! Well deserved recognition for all your hard work.

I might even watch these England friendlies now there is a clutch of Palace players in the squad.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Congratulations to Tyrick but I don’t know what that says about Englands options at Left Back…I thought he had a poor game on Sunday and looked decidedly below par, both positionally and with his passing.

Amazing for him, and us as a club.

Will certainly be watching the internationals now

Makes the internationals suddenly far more interesting. They've been incredibly boring recently. However, in my selfish Palace fan only mode, I don't want our players back tired, or worse: injured. If none of them were called up, we could reasonably expect them to be fresher.

Congratulations Tyrick. He's improved immensely since he's been promoted to our first team. It's a great advert for our club and academy that we now have 3 players in the current England set up. I imagine it'll be a real positive when it comes to summer recruitment.

What a positive week this has been

Great news for Tyrick, many congratulations.
One thing puzzles me, Southgate has picked him because of injuries to Trent A.A and Reece James, both right backs , yet Tyrick is a left back ?

Agreed, he had an excellent game against City and he has continued to develop and improve with each passing month. Perhaps Sundays first half performance was just a blip and we can make an allowance for that, perhaps even the England speculation affected his game a little, he did settle down however and seemed to grow into as it wore on.
