We will lose

Lawro has tipped us to win

He is almost always incorrect about Palace (mainly down to the fact he pretty much always has us to lose)

Well, what do you expect? He did play for the Weed for several years.

3-1 Palace. Comfortable win. Front 3 to share the goals between them.

Vive le Roy!

I heard Shlupp is out (build up of yellow cards) and this has dented my optimism a little as I think his energy over the last few games has gone a little under the radar.

Might this be an opportunity for Eze?

I really hope the players will be as revved up for it as the fans will be. I think this will be a lot more difficult than some of the pundits are predicting.

We’re a decent side on our day so fingers crossed!

We can beat them for energy, pace and organization. They look disjointed and a team in shambles.

They also have a lot of players out.

This on paper looks a palace win...

The palace way says we will lose lol

Will Everton burst our bubble ? They will be filled with enthusiasm energy and confidence with a nothing to lose attitude after their result against Newcastle. We will have to be on top form to overcome them. It is the Cup anyones guess as to who will win. I lean towards a 2-1 victory for us . COYP

Shlupp only has one yellow this season, so if he's out, it aint coz of that.

I think it could be 3-0. Everton are very poor at the moment.

I disagree. They expanded a lot of energy last night and only have a couple of days to recover. We have had 2 more. They are only too aware that they are still in big trouble so, even without recognising it, are likely to try to play within themselves. Cup success could be an unwanted diversion.

We will want this. PV won't allow complacency after a great performance against City to assume this will be easy.

I anticipate a controlled and dominant performance in which we build carefully, safely and slowly, making them chase and tired out. Score early, 3-0. 0-0 at half-time, 2-0. 0-1 at half-time, 2-1. We will win!

Everton were AWEFUL against Newcastle and should have lost. They are 3 points above a resurgent Watford - with Leeds now fluking wins it's left between them two as to who gets relegated. Only two days rest for this match so I can't see Everton throwing too much of their resources on a hopeless FA Cup campaign that, lets face, even if they manage the semis are super-highly unlikely to be anywhere near good enough to win it given the remaining competition. Everton could come out of this match with a win or loss PLUS injuries/cards etc that can't help their relegation battle (some tough games ahead). Who Everton pick for this match will tell the tale as to what they've decided. I expect therefore to see newbies given a chance, roll the dice, and if they win - all good - and might have new challenges and resources for the first relegation battle. If they win they've also saved their best players. I believe Everton will decide to concentrate on avoiding relegation. With Palace you never know but it's hard to see anything other than a Palace win.
