World cup is in Qatar, not Saudi Arabia.

Pretty sure Chelsea have a clause in their loan agreements that prohibits their Loane player playing against them. Period. So if we meet them at Wembley, Connor won’t play.
Come on Borough you know you can beat them.

Wrong. CG CAN play for us against Chelsea in the FA Cup as the loan restrictions only apply to the EPL NOT FA sanctioned competitions.

I dont know if you can say their very existence is down to RA -
(Maybe you can say their existence in the current form is down to RA) There was a club before he came along, albeit they had cash flow problems, but if he hadn't bought it would have probably been bought by someone else, as in the same / similar way that CPFC2010 bought us.

But yes- if they did all pull together & won the cup then for sure you could say that they were better for the challenge of facing adversity & overcoming it - although usually that sort of thing happens with teams who are greater than their sum of individual parts (think Brian Clough & Derby & Nottingham forest) Clubs that are made up of highly paid superstars dont tend to do so well when faced with prolonged adversity, if Tuchel can get them all pulling in the same direction until the season is over he really will have earnt his money.

surely if they won and progress to the final, and win - even if no money is exchanged, they are a better club because of it and adds value, it's a weird one - they want to punish RA then they should in theory (I don't agree with this mind) expel the club from the league, their very existence is due to RA, they won so much, due to him, surely he isn't doing it just for a hobby, there is an agenda, a motive to him being owner... he sucked up huge debt too... but if his club is what it is because if his corrupt ways... then they should be disqualified.

It's a weird one as a few clubs - as the HF have shown, are owned by questionable characters - I mean, the World Cup this year... no one really puts sanctions on them, how many deaths now?

Fair point - I will rephrase it, the club we know today, wouldn't be if it wasn't for RA.

And, let me explain, if they get kicked out of FA cup, they don't benefit and they are punished. Allowing them to play could afford them another trophy which benefits them moving forward... so it's not really a punishment, not letting them have fans in cos the benefits of winning out weighs being knocked out.

They get bought, they go into next season and play charity shield? Who would get that money, what if they win that? Let's say winning the fa cup got them into Europe... see my point??

I'm not saying I want this to happen... I'm just saying not allowing fans in, seem pointless.

The usual etiquette was to ask them if the loanee could play but this time there's no one to ask.

Well said. There's been too much chat generally about how sh1t Everton are and what a great draw it is IMO.
