I kind of view the sanction rules as a first attempt at laying down guidelines, the government will no doubt expect CFC ( who know a lot more about their own business model) to want to try to renegotiate the rules into a more workable set -

CFC will presumably lay out what they have in terms of a bank balance & what they need to generate to keep themselves running until the end of the season - (where their own pain points are)

Someone somewhere will eventually make a decision on how much of what they want / need is acceptable & how much the rules can be allowed to change to allow that, within the overall - RA gets no money scenario -

Additionally - they might have to look at the whole transfer window thing as without income support (maybe involving player sales) CFC likely wont survive the rest of the season.

It may well involve several attempts at negotiation / re negotiation to see what can be allowed depending upon how long it takes for a new owner to be installed.

basically, the government want Chelsea to survive and will do the minimum necessary to ensure that happens. How that affects the Conor situation I haven't a clue.

This is my take all up for negotiation after the end of May.

Dont try and kid yourself, he enjoys playing football. All his family and him are Chelsea fans, why wouldnt he want to play for their first team. He isnt going to get a better chance with high earners being offloaded.

I dont think the 'chances' have changed much one way or the other . The bottom line is if he is good enough for Chelsea (currently not) and /or will they need him in an overloaded squad next season (probably not )
The government rules will have to change somewhat with regard selling players or even loaning out but the chances as we say will depend on Connor .
Does he want to play every week or maybe half a season if he is lucky .

...with a club in what sort of state might also be an interesting question?

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

More likely that we can get Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Loved him under Roy during his loan, but his Fulham spell was pretty average. Tuchel has rated him enough to play him though.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

A young energetic box to box, potentially, ten goal a season midfield player who scores great goals.

We've got no chance of keeping him irrespective.

Anything could happen between now and next season. That’s if there is one. At least with us Connor is a super star but playing with guys on his level. We are like a load of Mavericks. Plus his best mate is here. Gueia. Give it another season on loan and then we will all know.

I guess the big questions are - how rocky will things get at CFC under the sanctions ?

What measures will any interim regulator have to put in place to keep the club afloat?

How long till a new owner emerges ?

What will life at CFC look like under the new owners ?

What do the new owners want for CFC?

Somewhere in the middle of all that is Conor G

He is on 150k a week, he is totally average, Lazy and injury prone, Eze is the way forward next year, Gallagher will be a permanent player for Chelsea next year and will shine

Yea but him and his family are Chelsea through and through (apparently). If anything he may see this as his chance to break into the first team as Chelsea lose some of their bigger stars.
