It wouldn't surprise me. Chelsea fans must be feeling pretty queasy this morning. Where's that Chelski fan who use to taunt us in the away forum now? Saw him dangling and shaking a collection bucket on my high street at about 08:30 today. When he sits by the roadside with a cardboard box and a message written upon another I may be inclined to pick him up a meal deal somewhere.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Obviously I don't know the finer details here but London is awash with money from dirty sources and this just comes across as opportunism. Yeah, it's not as if Russia has done anything to provoke this.

Can we have Gallagher on a free transfer please well what does this do to the Gallagher situation? They can't make any player sales and I don't know if a loan could be extended under the sanctions. They might need him (and their large contingent of loanees) more than ever now as they can't sign players

I can’t stop laughing... Serves them bloody well right... they will have a strict travel budget... will lose players.. who will stay? Good news is Gallagher will want to stay we hope... why would he want to return to Chelsea? Anyone buying Chelsea will want a Cheap deal....

BUT they'll also desperately need to reduce the wage bill so will be letting a large number of players go in order to ensure those at the club can be paid. We could even see Chelsea's world famous academy get closed which will see a lot of talented youngsters becoming available and Crystal Palace will be in a good position to scoop some of those players up.

Every match now their pathetic fans will continually chant 'Roman Abramovich' in much the same way Millwall bore us with their tired 'noone likes us'.

No players contracts can be renewed so Connor should be good to go where he wants. They can’t transfer players but I’m sure they can move on a free and if I were Connor I would sit very tight for the foreseeable. Don’t move to Saudi money. Edited by dreamwaverider (10 Mar 2022 10.40am)

If we somehow benefited as a club from this I would be amazed. However, if we did get Gallagher that would be the signing of the....well, probably one of our best permanent signings ever.

Just a thought: if a player is on a contract and they can't sell him does that mean the player has to stay, even if they want to move? Surely this would be against employment regulations.

Well if they can't even loan players out then the Chelsea FC Loan Farm will be pretty much dead and Chelsea will have to offload the lot of them one way or another. May not be Gallagher standard but could be worth scooping up some of the younger players.
