Years ago, Mrs YT and I were at a flower festival at the church in Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire with our first daughter, then a baby. Bercow (the MP for the area) and his wife turned up and he started smarming and arse-licking. He approached us and asked if he could have his photo taken while holding our baby. "Absolutely NOT!" said Mrs YT. After a brief moment of shock, his face took on a look akin to a bulldog chewing a wasp or perhaps a child who has had its sweets taken away. From that moment, we regarded him as a total dickhead, and nothing he did in his time as speaker diluted our opinion of him!

Is bullying a bully, bullying for bullying's sake? Is that the bull's eye or the bull's sh1t Bully for me or bully for you? You can't beat a bit of bully.

She is a bully, a disgrace, blind to her own cruelty. Is this the Priti Patel thread? No, your standard whataboutery reply.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

This is what happens when an overly sensitive narcissist is given a position of standing. Personally I'm not so sure about the bullying. It might be true, but it could also be a cultural display of sensitivity that is easily accepted in today's times. Maybe the charge was used as revenge or maybe not. I also liked his language skills and intelligence. However, what we can see is true is how Bercow behaved during the chair and he used it for political bias and made the job about him....which really wasn't the remit. The current holder does the job as it should be.....Bercow, divided that house and should have never have been elected to that position. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Mar 2022 12.08am)

The current speaker is very good IMHO, I hate to think what Chris Bryant would have been like. I am delighted the horrible Bercow has got some karma.

Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Mar 2022 12.08am) Exactly like a referee the best speakers are the ones who don't make headlines, I think the current one is doing a good job and also holding the government to account when required. He has told ministers off about making announcements outside of Parliament and reminding them that this should be done in the HOC.
