The big 3 are all drawn to play away in the next round, hopefully a bit of fixture congestion, collective over confidence on their part, some injuries / suspensions & do or die performances from their opponents - its not beyond the realms of possibility that one of them will fall at this hurdle.

OK its a bit of wishful thinking more than likelihood but it is live sport & stranger things have happened.

The real question should be do people want to see us do what we did before go all the way to the final to lose to one of the big teams this is all I could see happening.

I do believe we should be able to beat Everton but PV does make some strange choices so not sure about anything.

If this happens, we will be unique. The only club never to have won the cup to have lost in 3 finals. Currently we are level on 2 defeats with a few other clubs. The "most ever finals without winning" was Leicester City's dubious honour until last season's victory.

Nothing stranger than us beating Liverpool in 1990.

As long as we get to Wembley for the semi and have a good go at it, I’ll be happy, because it’ll all be a nice little bonus in this season of transition.

Upset the FA if we do, remember last time we were there, the stadium PA system trying to drown out our support. The FA don't like us being happy, supporting our club, with balloons, flags, songs, chants, jumping up n down, you know, doing all the thins supporters do. No, the FA frown on all that. . .

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

In the same season that we were comprehensively defeated 9-0 at Anfield.
In fact Liverpool did the 'Double' over us prior to that epic 4-3 encounter.

I hope so, as a season ticket holder it’s never been known that we’ve not been given a couple of days to secure our seats until this season, it’s always been one of those little privileges.

If I don’t get my seat, I’m unscrewing it and taking it home with me the game before

Indeed they did, Willo. They won 2-0 at Selhurst, and we were lucky to get nil!

Maybe we are on for the 150th anniversary double of Generation Cup and FA Cup?

True but their second goal followed Ian Wrights broken leg which was waved play on and the 9-0 could/should have been considerably closer

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

Everton look beatable. A giant killing of Liverpool and Man City would be preferable. I reckon we've finally got the goods,

Everton need to win in the league... they are in serious trouble.. I would say lampard would want a cup scalp, but at the expense of the league?

I don't feel we've put in a decent fa cup performance yet.

At best, 20 minute spells where we've been 'adequate,' but with individual players who have just been better than what the opposition have.

We need more than Olise to turn up against the heavyweights still in it.
