1-0 for me but so many imponderables in this match

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

Sean Dyche has got them hard to beat again. The difference this time, no Chris Woods who caused us plenty of problems in the north.

If we dominate the midfield we can win this, but I have a gut feeling this will be a draw.

One a piece!

It's about time we beat them again having drawn earlier this season and lost the previous 3.

I expect a close game but a one goal victory for us (2-1 - can't see us stopping one of their crosses/corners causing us damage)

To win I reckon we need to score at least two goals. Struggling to see them not scoring at a set piece.

We may be relying on them 'not scoring' far more so than us 'brilliantly defending' a set piece.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

We are SO vulnerable in the air at set pieces and Dyche knows it, he will try to exploit that at every opportunity. If we can limit this by not giving away stupid cheap free kicks and corners our class could see us through.

We have to be really disciplined and move the ball forward much more quickly through the midfield (less hopeful quarterback passes from Andersen) and try to use our pace to cut through and turn their big lads.

This is a dangerous match for us, make no mistake - so I’d settle for a draw.

Very contrasting styles and this was reflected in out first game that ended 3-3. The lead changed hands a few times and game could have gone either way. Someone mentioned no Chris Wood but i actually think Weghorst is an upgrade on Wood and he will cause us issues. On plus side we have greater squad depth and can bring in players like Schlupp and McCarthur without weakening the team. Key area's will be the full back's. It will be great for us if Ward is back and i think with Charlie Taylor out Wilf running at Pieters will be good for us. I think we can win the midfield battle and attack them more than us. Going for a 3-1. First goal will be massive in this game.

Would be happy to start with the same 11 that ran out on Vicarage Road. We will probably dominate and create half-chances, but keeper Pope MOTM and Burnley win their third game on the trot. 0-1...

Pep once aptly described playing Burnley as "going to the dentist"
It's painful and draining but it can be done.
We saw what can happen at the dentist with Tottenham the other night. I'd like to think we can go into this game level headed and most importantly focused. Have to be sharp and determined at all times and we can get a 1-0, otherwise it's a 0-1 to them.

Please make sure we are at least 2 goals up by the 85th minute. I can’t stand another hanging on last 10 mins at Selhurst. Too much stress.

One of the best set piece defenders I have seen for heading the Ball out in the premier is Benteke.
Now I’m not a big fan of Christian up front but when he comes back into defence for corners and set pieces, he is the man.
I’ve come to the conclusion that PV is a master of squad rotation after last night so maybe it’s a move he may consider.
If we can stop them at set pieces then I’ll give it 3-0 Palace

Whatt! why not play him at CD then as he is absolute S***e up front, I have an idea lets try and score some goals.
