My Euro team is Roma (long story) and I look at them, currently 7th in Serie A, Mourinho manager, Tammy Abraham up front, looking unlikely for a CL spot. Maybe a stint in Turkish football will suit Wilf.

There’s much more to keeping Gallagher than just being able meet Chelsea’s asking price. What about what he thinks. I’m sure Palace would not be on his shortlist as a long term prospect.
