For this match I hope everyone will be able to purchase their own season ticket seat be it in The Arthur, Main Stand before tickets are put on general sale, as a slightly older person I choose to sit in the Main Stand, yesterday was surrounded by a bunch of lads of various nationalities who were not really interested in the match, constantly walking back and forwards, taking selfies and being a f'ing nuisance.
Stoke won't bring more than our usual gift of approx 2,000 as it's an evening game, so I hope that the Arthur will be open to Palace fans as per league matches.

This has to be regarded as a pretty good draw for us surely? We're at home and playing a team that is in the bottom half of the league below us.

It won't be easy and we can't afford to be complacent. But at least we're not away to Liverpool. Maybe the odds start to look like we may get a bit closer to Wembley this year.

Anyway, we're on a longer Cup run this year, so look on the bright side chaps.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

So, Weds 2nd March it is then.

Why on earth are the ties being played mid-week and not on a traditional weekend?

Is this more devaluing of the FA Cup?

WE can beat them. It's Liverpool and Chelsea I don't want to meet.

We beat Stoke on the way to the final in 2016. Good omen perhaps?

Basically due to the WC being played in Nov/Dec, next season is starting early to accomodate the winter break, plus the fact, they gotta catch up with all the covid cancellations.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I thought that was a typo but all games currently listed for the Wednesday. I would guess that they will be played over 3 nights at staggered kick off times so the TV get to show most of them.

I would add I would much rather it being 3pm Saturday

Correct , the exact date Tuesday - Thursday will be announced after the TV channels have had their picks

That explanation makes no sense at all. This year the cup final is on 14th May, last year it was 15th May.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
