Same happened to me before on my way to work. I didn't go in as it took half the day to sort it. Currently can't stand work. I left it at the vet but always did wonder what happened to it. Cat's lives matter.
Animal cruelty is something I can't abide. However, there are too many bloody pets these days, including in my own household. I dream of a day I don't have to smell cat per or walk our bloody massive dog. Probably only about ten years left.

Missus rang in cause we hadn't had a ring back and the cat had to be put to sleep bless it, too many injuries.....no microchip. They will keep it for a couple of weeks in case the owner contacts them.

Will go in to pick up the neighbour's cage that was used.

I think that depends on what's on telly.

Yes, but surely you would be the first to say that two wrongs don't make a right.

No, but they make a great sweet and sour chicken.

Once I read a couple of thread posts I decided to leave it there...animal cruelty is awful....I'll leave it to you guys....I don't want to watch the video and get even more grumpy.

This goes to show the importance of getting pets micro-chipped. If your pet gets injured vets are very unlikely to operate if they can't find the owner. Understandable to an extent on accounts of cost but also pretty grim.

Indeed, micro-chipping is the way forward.

4 years ago i picked up a stray dog in the car, got home 5 minutes later and rang the number on the dog collar. Another 5 minutes and dog and owner were re-united, no worries. Owner very grateful.

3 years ago, picked up another stray dog. no collar. took it to the police station, and they didn't want it. Told me to take it to the vets, which i did. The dog was micro-chipped and the owner contacted. I left my details, but not even a phone call from the owner to say "thanks for rescuing my dog". Fking to553rs.

some owners just lack responsibility. Hope Stirling didn't get left with the bill.

I disengage, I turn the page.
