We do. I think overall we've been quite poor over the the last ten or so games since beating Wolves. Two wins against Everton and Norwich who were both shocking. Now looking very predictable.

I think on reflection it is as much to do with opposition than whether we are playing home or away. We've won at home against primarily lower/mid table opponents, though we have got 5 points away at City, Arsenal and West Ham Looks like we are benefitting from players going to AFCON as giving others opportunities to get a run. Liverpool is a free hit

Have to agree - away games since beating Man City we have lost to Leeds, Man U (both of whom looked pretty average) and Spurs and drawn with Burnley and the scum (both of which we could have lost). I am confused what our away tactics are - we've stopped pressing, we sometimes play a big man upfront others times not, and rarely score. We struggle to defend set pieces - BHA looked like they would score from every corner, and our own lack accuracy and imagination. We also time waste more than we did under Pulis - something i thought was impossible. PV needs to get this sorted. A couple of points re the scum that sum us up - throw ins we are clueless yet again. Near end of 1st half Mitchell has one near the corner flag and no one moves, eventually he takes it only for the return to make him offside. Then after HT players come back on the pitch slowly looking really lethargic and a little disinterested. Sure enough BHA start like a train and almost score within a minute or 2 of the restart. How can a Prem team not get these basics right Edited by palace99 (18 Jan 2022 5.21pm)
