I can't see us risking all in this game. I predict a draw.

And penalties?

Millwall, over the years gone by, have been a bloody pain in the arse and I think they'll win this. I'll go 1-0

We have only emerged victorious against Millwall once in our last 11 encounters against them.

In terms of this season, they are unbeaten in their last 5 home games.

Good to see you back Willo, as perky as ever. I think what you're saying is that our luck will change and their unbeaten run will end.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Thank you so much.
Indeed 'Pinky and Perky' are well in 'Chez Willo' on the south coast!

Millwall haven't defeated us in our last 4 encounters against them, one of which we won 1-0 at their ground back in Dec 2011.

There isn't really a positive for us here. Unless we hit 5 - which we won't - we're only going to look like we were vulnerable. It will be a tough game. I'm pretty confident that Vieira and the players will get the significance, but you just never quite know until the game kicks off.

If we scrape a 1:0 or 2:0 it will be largely unheralded and yet in reality, a really good result.

For those sad c***s it's the be all and end all of their s***ty 21/22 existence.

It kind of reminds me of last summer when England drew 0:0 with Scotland. The result was blown up as this disaster for England, when a draw had little consequence to what would happen in the following weeks. Yet Scotland took it as some incredible achievement. Ironically, the draw was more damaging to the Scots. They needed a win, and went out as a result of their failure to get one.

It magnifies the inadequacy of the 'underdog' when a mundane result is lauded as some kind of achievement. If a 0:0 is your finest hour, then you need to sort your history out. Trying hard and still being s*** is failure not success.

Just would like to confirm though... Jason Puncheon doesn't play for them any more does he?

Vieira making all the right noises re this game - he wants to win the FA Cup. He will field a strong team IMHO. If we want to start tinkering, do so if we have Rotherham at home or something.

Millwall away is a tough game. But it will be interesting tactically. We will stick to our ticky tacky, ball on the ground etc and Millwall I guess will play on the counter.

Anyone know the current Millwall style and what we should expect?

As an aside, I haven't felt this excited by the cup for ages - it's having a competitive team that can thrill that makes the difference. Should we get all the way I can hear the commentory waxing lyrical about the new Palace etc etc. For now though, getting to the next draw will suffice.

Anybody know if it's being televised? 12:45 KO, so guessing it might be.

Head says palace to win and btts, say 1-3

Heart says Millwall 1-0

For those predicting trouble, highly doubt it.
