I'm old. Growing up on Crystal Palace Hill in 1960s,70s. We are taking on Millwall. My first local derby I am 9 years old again I am as excited by this match since we gained promotion against Watford. I do not expect nothing but a hard fought game with a raucous atmosphere. UP The Palace

UP The Palace you’re definitely of a more mature age

Play a weakened side, as some on here have suggested, and you could come unstuck. Quite a few PL clubs have tried that at The Den in recent history and we’ve turned them over (Bournemouth, Watford, Leicester when they was champions, and Everton off the top of my head. Brighton needed extra time to beat us one year). Play your strongest team and you should have too much for us. Really can’t understand why some wouldn’t want you playing your strongest team. You’re heading for another nailed on mid table finish. Why not go for it in the cups? Edited by Wippa (05 Jan 2022 9.27pm)

Totally agree. And I would start Olise and play Gallagher. We don't have the depth of squad to pretend we can out play Millwall at home when you will clearly be coming after us.
