A happy and healthy New Year to all. As we were assured 25 years ago - Things Can Only Get Better.

This time last year my friends and I wrote down our hopes and fears for 2021 on a card which I then sealed in an envelope.

Last night we opened then, it was an interesting exercise in how I was thinking a year ago. Unfortunately most of what I hoped for didn't happen so the only thing I really need to do is change the date on the card for 2022.

Some of you might want to try this, it's interesting and can be fun to see what you were dwelling on last year.

Mostly mine was about hoping to travel again (didn't really happen) and some person relationship stuff which also didn't happen.

Give it a go. Happy New Year everyone, COPY.

I wish all of you and your families a very happy and peaceful 2022.

Let's hope we finally see off Covid so we can move around freely again. It would be good to see no more, or at least less, teenage violence on our streets. The problem seems to be getting out of hand.

We all want to see Eze fully fit again and Olise playing a bigger part in our story, but it seems we can realistically expect Palace to end the season in the top half of the PL.

Good luck to our lads and best wishes to all of you.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
