Surely they don’t need to rely on someone who is half fit and certainly lacking match fitness ? Edited by Superhorns3 (04 Jan 2022 9.52pm)

I read that it was due to be played in January 2021 but was pushed back to this year, so not a mid-season tournament. The decision was made in June 2020 which may have muddied things though. Edit: it was due to take place in June/July 2021 but it was moved to January/February 2021 "due to unfavourable climactic conditions" (something we've all experienced at some time or another I'm sure). It was then moved for a second time to 2022 due to COVID. Edited by taylors lovechild (05 Jan 2022 9.17am)

There are only a small number of countries in Africa who could hold a tournament in the summer without the blistering temperatures that would make it impractical. Due to poverty the number of countries that actually want to host the tournament isn't that great anyway. So during our winter is probably the right time to host it that is not the issue for me as I posted previously FIFA need to block this time out for international football. Last year we had 3 two week international breaks in September / October and November just as the club season started to get interesting. Why can't England and the rest play these games at the same time as AFCON then there's no problem. I find international qualifiers boring as they are dragged out over 2 years better to make them min tournaments. Edited by Badger11 (05 Jan 2022 9.32am)

The revolving door is rotating again, 'Tinkerman' has been sacked.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Watford's previous managers couldn't have a reunion - there isn't a hotel big enough to host the event.

Superhorn. Where u at. What's ur take? Predictable. Fans were actually pointing fingers at the board and owners more than Ranieri tbh but it’s the manager who gets the blame . Seems Roy Hodgson is coming in !
