I recently served on a jury panel on a murder. The other jurors expressed horror at the details and talked about trouble sleeping etc. I loved it. Is there something wrong with me?

I'm hoping that if I put my hand up in the opening session and say "we all know, M'Lud, that if they're not guilty of this they're guilty of something else, so can we just send them down and get off early" it may hasten my departure from proceedings. Even if I get 2 days for contempt it will be better than the 8 weeks they've told me it's scheduled for.
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

Being a long-standing Palace fan equips you for adversity in life. Multiple stabbings are a trifle compared with Palace v Sunderland for example. What was the verdict?

Don't have one, don't want one! Have a mobile, but only use it when my wife goes shopping in Falmouth. I park and wait for her call to pick her up!

Due to my sensitivity to light I can’t have one as my main phone so use an old Nokia. My other half gives me her old IPhones when she get‘a a new one so I can check my emails and this site every couple of days for 10 mins max (often with brightness down really low or sunglasses on). It causes me lots of problems ( and headaches which has also resulted in me suffering with vertigo for the past two years ) in every day life including at work.

My sister bought me a smart phone. I trusted her to order me the correct SIM card. Have sent email to get situation rectified, but how such a simple error can occur is beyond me. my trusted Tesco PAYG will have a stay of execution, unless it is already dead

I have just found a company called 1pMobile? Basically 1p is the rate for calls texts data. You pay £10 for your sim with the amount credited. Works on every phone including 2G. No monthly top-up. Top-up every 120 days. I will give it a try. 1pmobile.com is the site
