My view is that HOL has had enough of my plethora of stats, concluding that they were meaningless gobbledegook, and in general concluded that I was an old bore propagating palpable tosh with blizzards of words in search of coherent sentences, adding of course that they tired of me being an Elijah of doom.

Well I am greatly relieved as was concerned something might have happened to you, dear friend. All is well and we can now look forward to your future deliberations and improve our knowledge of words that only the master, P.G. Wodehouse*, has espoused in the past. You should be in fine fettle celebrating the transformation of our beloved team into a pukker 'footballing side'. Welcome back. *note to all golfers, dig out Wodehouse's wonderful collection of golfing stories - priceless.

My goodness I am certainly no wordsmith, marinating myself in a cauldron of oratory.I accept that on occasions I do express myself in florid terms but my words are nothing more than getting from A to B rather than to be enjoyed or explored. I bow down to all the erudite luminaries on HOL with auras of grandiloquence I have never achieved nor will ever in my lifetime.
