My wife has followed this case closely, the University gave her no support until it became apparent that there was a lot of adverse publicity. All the students who have used threateningly behaviour should be expelled from the Uni but, of course, that hasn’t/wont happen. Edited by Spiderman (14 Nov 2021 6.48pm)

We are all relying on second hand reports, often by people with a particular view they want to support, so it's difficult to be sure exactly what was done. The Uni would have been between a rock and a hard place. Damned if they intervened, and damned if they didn't. Not easy. I would have hoped some quiet interventions, behind the scenes, could have sorted things out, but obviously not.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

An employee was openly being bullied this wasn't even being done on the down-low. An absolute disgrace.

What would the uni have done if a lecturer was bullying/ threatening a student . Edited by Spiderman (15 Nov 2021 6.40am) Edited by Spiderman (15 Nov 2021 6.44am)

My main issues with mens toilets though is that from the state of the cubicles there appears to be an epidemic of blokes unable to sh!t directly into the pan, instead preferring the walls and floor instead.

Interesting. I have been into buildings that have flexible toilet facilities - wholly cubicles - which they can rename (M or f) dependent on failures (out of order) and the demographic the venue is hosting. All cubicles - like at home - means that a "caught short" person can go into the nearest available toilet set. Please bear in mind that toilets for the disabled and changing places are all unisex. Discussions about this topic usually feature people getting tongue (and brain) tied. We are safe, I cannot see such facilities at Selhurst Park in my lifetime.

No liberal lefty would have done this. These are loony fringe militant wokes whose book burning ways takes them about as far away from liberal as you can get. They have far more in common with the extreme right than they would readily admit.
