I wonder why they have no money? They have a sensible transfer policy, they have a regular, medium sized ground support, they don't try and buy their way out of trouble and they have picked up multi millions in parachute and promotion payments the last few seasons.

Rather than them being skint I think they are reasonably happy with their business model which appears to be, too good for the Championship, not good enough for the PL.

I don't think there is anything wrong with their model. Yes, they have a dull year watching their team lose most games, but this is normally followed by an exciting year either winning or finding promotion from the league below.

They remind me of Palace in the up and down years.

Delia must be the poorest owner in the league - no outside money and COVID finances must make it a tough gig. We got lucky with new investor at just the right time.

Think it's a great club they have there. But wholly puzzled at why they let Farke go - they only just gave him a contract extension. Wonder if it's because of his failure to reinvest the Buendia windfall. That was a massive loss to them. Think they'd have been competitive enough with him. Most of what they have bought looks poor.

Difficult to know unless someone has the inside track -
He had been there a few years, maybe the manager / owner relationship had just run its course & both sides had become tired of listening to the same conversation on what success looked like for each of them.

I think Dean Smith is perhaps more hard done by. New signings such as Bailey have barely played due to injuries and they lost their talisman in the summer. After a solid season last year you would think they'd be more patient, but there you go. Farke has done little to show he learned anything from the last time Norwich were in the PL. Seemingly nice guy, but you have to show progress of some sort in most jobs. Lampard worked well with the 'yoof' so may actually be a good fit. He also seems like a nice family man which suits the city's vibe
