Tricky one

Yet again we have drawn a side who are in form. The calendar really is against us this season. Quietly confident though. We have the knack of making teams look bad.

They will be ceding possession to us and looking to hit on the counter and through set pieces and keeping Cornet quiet will be key. Our press will be less relevant than in other games as they are unlikely to compete in midfield and it will come down to how well we unlock the defence.

Team?

Guaita
Ward Guehi Andersen Mitchell
Olise Kouyate Gallagher
Edouard Tekkers Zaha

We'll need Tekekrs for aerial ability and he's done a good job as focal point in attack. I'd go Olise (assuming Eze not fully match fit) as able to unlock the defence with Gallagher slightly further back in Macca role. Some argument for Schlupp instead.

Both teams to score, we win

4-1 Palace, bar injuries, the top six awaits

I would be very happy with a boring draw as well as our players getting out unscathed.
With less protection this season I can see the likes of Wilf taking a good kicking!

We lost twice against Burnley last season, so it is time for revenge. But it will be a tøugh game with a lot of work for our two central defenders. Happy with a draw, really.

I agree with others .. Burnley we seem to struggle against. If our back line keep them quiet our midfield and forwards should score some goals.
I am going for a hard fought 2 -0 win for the Eagles.

With Andersen leaving the Denmark setup with a knock, who is our third choice center back? Tomkins? Move Cheik back and put Luka in at holding midfielder?

Don't think it matters too much the game will be 75% in their half

Reading that Eze might make the squad for Burnley I decided to remind myself just how good he is [Link] This show reel doesn't even include his two solo goals and yet it is still all killer no filler. I think I'd forgotten just how good he is.

We deservedly beat City - without parking the bus. Burnley are 3rd from bottom. They've shown a little improvement but were lucky against Chelsea.

Palace players must be on a high now. For good reason - they're now a good side.

A Palace win. I'll be gutted if we don't.

Plus t***ty Lawro has predicted a loss. What more signs do you need?

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.
