However it's interesting that he is dropping back and making runs like Olise or Gallagher, so he's also replicating their roles. What will Frank do when Eze is fit? Play him alongside Gallagher and drop Tekkers? Both Eze and Gallagher are proven goal-scorers so maybe we don't need both Tekkers and Edouard on the pitch together. Er mate we sacked Frank four years ago, sorry to be the one to break it to you lol

Edouard seems to be one of a number players (Benteke, Gallagher, Macarthur also) who are flourishing under PV.

Doing a great job for the team, as said far more versatile than expected. The way he's going I expect him to start scoring regularly pretty soon, he's been a bit unlucky so far. Slightly off piste but an interesting contrast between Edouard and a certain Mason Greenwood who apparently sulked all game for moan u "because he wants to be centre forward and was put on the right wing"

Has really impressed me so far. Works hard for the team and seems much more engaged than he was towards the end of his time at Celtic.
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that. |

Edouard seems very technical and seems accurate with his shooting. It isn't suiting him out wide but he's doing the job he's asked and doing it pretty well. He offers more of a goal threat than Ayew and is more accurate in front of goal than Benteke. I guess his downside at 9 for us is lack of height, although he's not exactly poor in the air, plus he's not exactly the quickest, although not exactly a slouch. Skill and technique he rivals anyone in our squad. His shooting accuracy is perhaps our best.

He's definitely improving with each game he plays. Gets into good positions and makes effective runs. But, for me, he isn't scoring enough from the chances he creates. I always wanted to see him replace Benteke, however the two of them appear to be a solid pairing. Unfortunately, neither are prolific in front of goal.

Good running with the ball, hard working and clearly versatile as well. Once he starts finding the net more regularly, I reckon we'll have another real star on our hands.

I've been impressed so far. Just needs to be a fraction sharper in front of goal.
