I live in Redruth but I’m always in Falmouth with my mates. I’m probably the youngest palace fan in Cornwall. I’m 21, I feel very outnumbered

I met three living in Boscastle (or around). They spotted me walking through the village with my Palace shirt, they were watching one of those uninspiring England matches in the Pub!!!

I moved to Plymouth in 2005 but still have a season ticket and also do about half the away games, mostly on the train. I'm on the 13.15 train from Plymouth to Paddington on Monday, coach J if anyone else is too.
I am ready, are you? Sheffield here we come. |

I live in Falmouth. Rarely get to games these days, but still follow the team’s fortunes avidly. I have bumped into another Palace fan whilst out running a couple of times - he is also a runner and we’ve had a couple of chats. I think he’s on here - possibly as Falmouth Dave or Falmouth Eagle?

Hi! Truro Eagle here. Been in Cornwall 18 years. Was a season ticket holder back in day. Can really only make a couple of home games each year. I somehow to Threemilestone Social Club if they are showing Palace on TV. Anyone’s welcome to join me next time. Churz!

Do you guys ever get together to watch games? We haven't. Up to now anyway, although the idea of a Cornish group based at a suitably located pub where we could gather whenever a game is on TV has its attractions. My friends at the bowling club, all retired like me, have talked about making a trip together to Selhurst to see a special game. Most of us haven't been for a very long time but share memories of the terraces and many memorable games. I do watch every game though and have for years, including a few years ago when I lived on the other side of the world and watched in the middle of the night, all alone. PM me if you need the details!
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |
