All the games shown live would kill the lower leagues and non league. Remember the football league? That place where we came from and no doubt will be back one day? Attendances would fall without a doubt.

Still when BBC advertise MOTD2 like this, we probably are better off staying as we are. Commentator “ mistake by Jurgen Andersen”! Attachment: 2426BF30-95E1-41CB-95B9-2EA5243CB43F.png (1,174.97Kb)

How much would the subscription fee go up to if they had to pay for the rest of the matches?
I am ready, are you? Sheffield here we come. |

I don't get why games aren't available internationally on a legal subscription basis via the web, especially when all games are broadcast by US tv? I would happily pay a sensible amount to watch a legal stream here in France where I now live rather than an unreliable and constantly interrupted dodgy stream. I do understand that locally this would impact attendances but outside of the local area surely this would be a bigger income generator rather than Sky choosing individual games to hype up? I doubt it would impact attendances tbh. Our last two games were live yet home and away ends were virtually full. I think eagleman has nailed the reason.

I watch baseball every session I pay a monthly fee to MLB £22 and can watch any game live every day through the season of which each team play 162 games per season roughly 5/6 games per week I really can’t understand why the premier league or the football bodies can’t get together and do something like that as it would generate a big income for the game from hom and abroad!

With the 14.45 Saturday blackout now back in place, the last thing we would want is having no 3pm Saturday games in the Premier League at all which would have to happen if they were all televised live in the UK.

It is there for clubs at all levels. Imagine how attendances would be affected in Leagues One and Two as well as at hundreds of non-league grounds all around the country if there was Premier League football live on the telly during their prime time on a Saturday.

There is no way that the Premier League would give the live broadcasting rights for the remaining games to Sky (or anyone) for free.

All Premier League games streamed live on DAZN. Plus all Champions League, Europa League, Carabao cup and loads of Championship games. All for $172.50 a year. If I only watched Palace games then that works out at $4.54 a game, about £2.70 a game. With a VPN I can also watch any games on BBC or ITV. DAZN seems to expanding quite a lot. You can get it in the UK but all they seem to show is Boxing! I haven't missed a Palace game for over two seasons now - not sure if that is good or not!
