James Vaughan scored a hatrick on debut - but guess that loanees don't count (or was it just his Selhurst debut?) some players regret they left Palace and a few regret they never joined it was a great night - one of those where something totally unexpected and brilliant things happen

I was going to say Grant Watts, but wasn't 100% sure and had forgotten who the opposition was. I remember Marouane Chamakh's debut goal against Stoke City. I was at that game and can still see him scoring it. I think I can recall Bobby Bowry scoring against Millwall in his early days (maybe a League Cup game), not sure if it was his debut or not.
