There are many people in this world who are so unhappy and bitter about their own lives that they don't want anyone else to have any fun. Taste is taste, but people should be allowed to be entertained by what ever they please as long as it is within the law. I don't want t***ty virtue signalling pen pushers telling me what my values should be.

This was in his pomp, but he couldn't have been doing that well because he was on the same flight as me. In all fairness, last I went to Liverpool - Palace, the bake off guy was on the plane. Obviously stingy if needs to fly Ryan Air. I'm pretty sure he's well off.

Kind of a throw back to working men's clubs. Guess his mother in law has complained eventually.

Was a comic in the style of many others back 8n the day. His edge then like Bernard Manning became going that little bit further with gags that sailed close to and then crossed what many would say was acceptable. From then he ploughed a furrow of appealing to a mainly white working class gammon audience and has done for years. Fair play don't like him don't go. But I don't agree with what is in effect the local council banning him as they don't like what he says or how he says it. Grown adults can choose for themselves. He is now probably the last of this style of comic that can actually get decent sized gigs as the rest are mostly dead or have killed their own careers by what they have said and done.

I met him once when I was working in a hotel filling mini bars, he starting chatting to me and asking about the local area and was telling me about an old house he had bought and done up he seemed like when he is not on stage quite normal decent chap, I used to enjoy his humour years back but would not pay to see him but don't believe others like his fans should be barred from going to see him.

Real name Royston Vasey, which sounds a bit posh, and is also the fictional town In League of Gentlemen, in which he once had a cameo appearance.

His humour is stuck in the 80s, and there is nothing wrong with that but its nothing to do with him being offensive, there are people out there a lot more offensive than him and they do just fine.
