To keep the royal connection going, I've heard that they're considering Prince Andrew for the role. J/K I mean I'd watch though..

ITV remain unapologetic and are spinning it their way. The head must be under pressure for caving to Meghan but worse the viewing figures are down go woke go broke. does anybody at all watch the BBC anymore ? apart from some nonagenarians at the retirement home who cannot find the remote control to change the channel. anybody at all ?

Meghan Markle v Piers Morgan? Like Brighton playing Millwall. There is no positive outcome.

Yes, I realise it was ITV who were the subject of review. But it was their CEO who pushed Morgan to apologise to Markle, which, quite rightly, he refused to do and which is why he decided to walk out. It would be reasonable for ITV to apologise to Morgan as the Ofcom finding saw no reason why he should not express his own point of view. He was right and they were wrong. Did you read what Ofcom actually said, or what the right wing press say they said? They expressed no opinion on whether Morgan should, or should not, express his point of view. Their comments were all directed at his employer, ITV. It's ITV's responsibility to decide what their employee can, or cannot do. It's not Morgan's station. If ITV decided their own standards were compromised and demanded their presenter apologise then apologise, or resign, he must. Morgan's only defence could be that the terms of his employment were not adequately explained to him, or weren't properly established in his contract. He decided not to raise that defence, but chose to walk. Morgan is far too big for his boots and deservedly got his comeuppance, which he was angling for for sometime.
