I prefer Palace being under the radar and also like the way Parish also stays under the radar with transfers and club updates, only making announcements when things are 100% real. It's a bit like someone who buys a car to impress others, spouting on how it 'draws attention and conversation at gas stations'. Well yes but the impressive part is the manufacturer who conceived, developed and designed it not the owner who simply stumped up lots of money for it.

I'm just thinking of football club owners buying players to impress young ladies in their mid life crisis now.

We're always an afterthought, but that's a good position from which to prove people wrong.

On the flip side of this, on the *ahem/spit* bbc's deadline day rolling feed, they mentioned Manure/Ronaldo in 57 different posts, along with the 8 different story links. As you mention, its always good to prove people/pundits & media companies wrong.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

As I say, I just support for the consistent glory. Being from Bromley a total aside.

Agree with Orange have supported Palace since the 1970, my uncle played for Palace that's why I supported Palace. I moved from Swindon to London to work just at the time Bert Head and Don Rogers arrived have not been able to go to many games since but when I can I do, its because of where I have lived and needed to earn a living, BUT I am still Palace when they play badly my week if we loose is F***ed up .Some people should get a life in Portugal Benfica have millions of supporters world wide they are all Benfica and do not have to read the krap about going to games, not sure how many can get into Selhurst but if we all turned up there would not be enough pies!! Get a life.

Parish keeping quiet about transfers and other club activities has nothing to do with wanting to impress anyone and I don't see what it has to do with your car analogy either as I drive a car that attracts attention at gas stations due to it's comparative rarity and I bought it purely and simply because it impressed me and couldn't care less what others think

I watch the racing preview program on saturday mornings b4 the big match revisited. they've been doing 79-81 so there's loads of Palace - but when Ed Chamberlain says what's following the racing it's "including Southampton v Liverpool, Man city and Norwich" for example, and we never get a mention even when we're the f*cking main match. C*nts!
