This is the stupidity of vaccine and mask obsessed people. Best off to just get a proper FFP3 mask rather than shove your responsibility and risk onto others. It’s the only thing you can really rely on. i test myself 4/5 times a week to try my hardest to make sure I am not going to make my elderly parents/family/friends ill when i see them…i dont see that as that much hardship in the grand scheme of things! i wear a mask when i go shopping. i dont enjoy doing either of these things, i didnt enjoy getting a vaccine however i would rather take these precautionary steps to keep myself, my friends & my family safe. Why have they decided "Deaths within 60 days of a positive COVID-19 test or where COVID-19 is mentioned on the death certificate", when previously it was 28 days? "Can we have our goalposts back please, mister?"

I appreciate the issue is perhaps more nuanced than the media sometimes conveys, but isn't the answer to your question something like: To do your bit. To stop the numbers getting higher than they otherwise would. To not pass the virus on to someone else, including those who are over 50, vulnerable or just unlucky. Because you (we) have responsibilities as well as rights? I'm not sure I'd describe ineligibility for football tickets as a punishment for anti-vaxers though, it's perhaps more a reward for the vaccinated. I do also appreciate the significance of testing oneself before attending a match regardless of vaccination status.

Tho it's not a vaccine is it, scientists have already said it'll be impossible to achieve herd immunity due to the speed it mutates, it'll be a seasonal jab like the flu, it's not going anywhere, it's here to stay, if you're old or high risk and you don't get the jab then that's stupidity. I have a polio vaccine, I couldn't care less who else has it as I'm safe. Its been sensationalised by the press and has been politicised by governments. If it was as deadly as people make out you wouldn't have to bribe people to get it.

It's a partial vaccine that you take to protect you and, crucially (though you seem to miss the point) others.

Because when you catch it you will pass it on ( possibly to someone it may harm) and the cycle continues how the f do you think they eradicate diseases using vaccines ffs ..

Everyone is still ‘at risk’ or not ‘staying safe’ even with these vaccines. If you want to ‘stay safe’ and keep your loved ones safe then unless you wear an FFP3 mask I’m afraid you won’t be. But what you might do is put blame on others when you could get an FFP3 mask and know none of the other stuff matters to you and your loved ones. But let’s use it as a 21st century way to claim moral superiority while the opportunity is there rather than do something that is going to be certain of a result.
