Shame the rest of the movie was crap, Roger was too old by then. By the time he was in View To a Kill he was old enough to be that Stacey’s grandfather. At least in Octopussy they paired him with Maud Adams again so jot as much of an age gap, even though he got a one night stand in with the Scandinavian model with ‘’that’s my little octopussy’’ tattoo on her shoulder, followed by the Moore raised eyebrow after he’d already seen her little, oh no.

I thought that one was a marked improvement on Octopussy and For Your Eyes Only. They were the worst of the Moore era in my view. He never did a better one than Live and Let Die although Spy Who loved Me and Moonraker were the big crowd pleasers.

Still creepy a grandad perving up a firm younger lady in a babydoll

Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (24 Aug 2021 1.09pm) Quite an achievement for a recent Bond film in Casino Royale to be considered the best best compared to so many considered to be sat before. An excellent movie I was glad to bother to visit the cinema for at the end of 2006. Edited by Rudi Hedman (25 Aug 2021 11.33am)

That's a hard one, Bond movies used to come with a good potion of soft cheese until recently when they take themselves a tad seriously. I think the 'Man with the Golden Gun' for the older versions as I think Lee was the best villian, though there are several up there and 'Skyfall' for the recent......though other movies have better sections in them....best music is 'secret service', while opening sequence is 'The spy who loved me'. Moore never bettered Live and Let Die for me. Considering the size of the job to reboot Bond once again, it exceeded expectations by some distance.

I'm dreading the next movie, seems the producers are listening to the men haters and trying to change Bond into something a long way from the books.
