Yesterday we had about 200 appointments and around 150 walk ins (no appointments). Walk ins slow the process down because of the extra paperwork I don't understand why people can't make an appointment I guess they wake up and think Hmmm today's a nice day to get the jab.

As we do both my job was to filter the walk ins around the appointments as people get fed up if they have been waiting having booked and if they haven't booked they wont hang around too long.

When things slowed down late in the day this young woman walked straight in and started moaning how long do I have to wait.

Me "Madam you have to register first there is no queue for that and then see the queue to be vaccinated?

Her "what queue"

Me "precisely you'll be done immediately

Her whine "Do I have to wait 15 minutes"

Me thinking "I should tell the nurse I will stab err I mean jab this one"
