Wenger once said of Kolasinac that he has the "Force of an animal".

What is that supposed to mean as he could have been referring equally as much to a mouse as a lion

Unsurprising as it is one of the worst click bait pimps

Yes and, with regret, the click bait suggestion that we are pursing Callum Chambers must also be tosh.

Can you imagine him in our back line...

Dream on.

There is zero substance to that article.

I don’t know much about Kolasinac other than him decking a bloke who tried to mug him at knife point - I like him for that.

Agree with others that we are light at left back and Mitchell isn’t the finished article. He’s a good defender but doesn’t offer much going forward.

i would buy him just based on that!!! On a serious level he is too old and wages will be too high.

Agree Mitchell is still learning though - did look a bit lost at times last season.
Hannam is a possibility but i feel we need alternatives.
Noticed Jairo was tried there the other day (not ideal IMHO).
Schlupp has done ok there in previous seasons, so that's a possibility but again not as a 1st choice unless we play 5 at the back

Hypothetically speaking I’d be happy to have this chap in our 1st team back 4. He has all the attributes that we would be looking for.

28 isn’t old…it’s potentially a player in his prime years. I worry wages may be the main issue with a player like this.

Signing proven players that fit the wage structure shouldn’t be dismissed purely based on age. We need a healthy mix of youth and experience.

Probably about 3 years ago, it was said about Kolasinac that he does not move his feet quickly enough so when opponents change direction or there are quick combinations around him, he is found wanting.
He is a tough character though, and has said one of his strengths is his mentality.

Sounds like all our defenders, he will fit in well.

If we're going for an Arsenal defender, I'd far rather have Chambers.

Rumoured to be about the same price, likely lower wages, younger, more versatile...

We do look weak on the left but currently, we're even more exposed on the right with zero back up to Ward who had a really poor end to last season - at fault for a goal 3 games running.

26th January 2010 - Enter Administration
2nd May 2010 - D-Day 1 - Survival at Hillsborough
1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
7th June 2010 - CPFC2010 exchange contracts.

His preferred position is at centre-half but he has played at right-back and left-back, certainly when I saw him at right-back he looked a tad suspect in this position. He has also played in midfield, for Fulham, when he was at the club on loan.
He used to clean Rickie Lambert's boots at Southampton.

We already have better centre half’s than Chambers and there are better and cheaper full back options out there so I’d say absolutely no way should we be considering Chambers.
