Not getting a sniff at Spurs, cup game and still on the bench. We could have done with him and he seems to have a good personality but why of why go there......

He is on loan at Tottenham from Villarreal.
The loan fee is £3 Mill with an option to buy for £27 Mill.

Very skilful player but nobody seems to know what his best position is? No idea whether he's worth any interest from Palace?

He can run around with Schlupp, Ayew and Eze - enigmas with no particular position. We'd be hard to predict - albeit probably a bit crap.

I think the term is utility player, which in Schlupp's case means being able to play well in a number of different positions

Not really seeing how this guy is any good. We need someone but this seems a risk. The obvious one is Sarr but that seems quiet.

For what it's worth, which isn't much, I always thought he was a superb player. Quick, agile, can beat players, a real menace in the right circumstances/teams.

Assuming Wilf goes, we'd have Eze and Olise for creative purposes, hopefully a better striker, and Danjuma would provide the electricity on the other flank (something somewhat faded from Wilf's game).

Just my two cents, he has not lit La Liga alight and I don't even recall him playing for Spuds but from what I remember I'd be encouraged.

The fact that things didn't work out at Spurs doesn't mean they couldn't at Palace

Yeah, they're no barometer for anything in football really and I say that without even any intention to cause offence!

If the first of your links was correct then it seems that Villareal would not be averse to a loan. Now that might be worth considering with an option to buy. I suspect (or should I say 'would hope') that whatever transfer funds we have will go on a striker.

Desperate to offload by the sound of it, which should lower his price. No idea whether he's worth it

He's a utility player, but has played as a striker, could be a great signing for not that much money
