I didn't see a huge amount but I watched him in the play offs for Swansea and I thought he was outstanding. This is a great signing for us and much needed in regards to an ageing defence. I really hope Cahill comes back in to help him grow with us and learn. In 6 months we could line-up : Ferguson Guehi Cahill Mitchell - That is exciting and the direction we want to be heading. Good business if it happens and Dougie pulling another one out of the bag! Just hope he isn't injured...

interesting too That a few Places are saying that chelsea didn't want to sell, but the offer received was 'too good to refuse' not something I've heard when we bid for players in The past.

I’m sure when Liverpool pulled our pants down for £26m for a centre back than barely ever played again they would have said it was an offer too good to refuse lol

Yes but there's also a sell on clause plus option to match the selling fee! This might smack of a good deal but Chelsea haven't forgotten to add the tinsel here!

too good for chelsea, Obvs does that mean we've overpaid then - or done what we needed to to get the Player we want?

At the Chelsea academy, Guehi,Brewster and Gallagher were inseparable. They were all at Swansea together the season before last. I have just perused that no player aged 21 or under had a better tackle success rate in England's top two tiers than Marc Guehi (84.6%) last season. Edited by Willo (15 Jul 2021 2.11pm)

Been saying for sometime we need a younger CB to play and learn from from senior CH like Cahill and Tomkins, Really liking the look of the players coming in and Wilf may stay pity Eze is inured, feeling happy about next season only because we are signing younger players
