The game should not have continued. I am pretty shaken and I only saw it on the telly. Poor players.

Then, on our way to the pub, we saw a bloke spark out on the pavement opposite Box Park, just a young well dressed beardy bloke. A Central European lady was on the phone to 111. We stopped and so did another bloke, then Nando’s staff came over the road. They were really good. Said the guy had been lying there for 45 minutes but people kept stopping so they thought someone had cared enough to call an ambulance. Apparently not. He was breathing but unwakeable. Not a great night.

I’ve never heard of anyone described as Central European. Which country would you guess she’s from?

My thoughts are with Christian and his family, the incident would be trauma enough but played out in front of the crowd and TV, I cannot begin to comprehend it for his wife and family. get well soon Christian.
Oh and Rudi, with a first name of Rudi I would have thought Central Europe would have been home. You obviously failed Geography. Try Czech Republic, Slovenia,Vienna. does that help?

I agree. Apparently they had the choice of continuing last night or resuming today! Some choice. No way were Denmark going to get anything from game. Also sympathies to Finland must have been awful for them as well, they didn’t appear to want to be there either

Strange post. Still never hear anyone being described as Central European. Usually people make a guess of a country or two.

some Central Europeans, and especially the Poles, have a strong Central identity and don't for example like being lumped in with Eastern Europeans.
