See's it as a way to help his chances next year. He is a wounded animal. Which makes him very dangerous. And offers only two solutions. Either get out of his way or else finish him off. Macron realises that the UK is playing out, and brexit has surrendered europe without a scratch. The mistrust of the British PM at the G7 so obvious even the USA telling him 'candidly' to observe his treaty. Hence the official euro language now transferring to French. Macron doesn't need to go to war to avenge Waterloo, the UK is imploding by itself. 'Northern Ireland not in the United Kingdom', made me laugh. He denies it, of course. Nice one, Emmanuel.
