If you’d have seen him at West Brom you know that he’s a top player.. that’s why they wanted him to stay... he’s been very unlucky with the injury... but I guess if your in Shropshire you don’t get to see these things.....

Me too. The rebuild is going to be an enormous task. It's a bit like owning a house and not doing maintenance for years and then finding everything needs doing at once.

We don't even have a nucleus of players around whom a new team could be built, particularly with Eze injured and Wilf possibly /probably going. Who's left of the squad that are young enough or good enough to be the future of the side?

I suppose one way of looking at it is that Ferguson has never been involved in the first team picture so it doesn’t feel like we’ve lost anything. That said, he was all geared up to enter the scene next season so would have felt like a new signing.
