If this is correct, heads need to roll. Perhaps a new manager will sort this debacle out

Not the news Wilf wanted to hear either, surely even less likely we'll sanction a move for him this summer now.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

That's a real bummer for him and for us. He was one of the few bright lights this season.

I suppose the only positives are that he is now unlikely to be poached by another club during the summer, and 3 months of his time out is over the close season.

I hope he makes the speediest recovery possible.

Indeed but the amount of training injuries we suffer beggars belief.

You couldn't make it up! Just when Roy's shackles were about to come off

Let's keep the ball this season!

Correct and the point I was to make. Cursed?
Doesn't seem to happen with other teams as much.

Really looking forward to watching him glide around the pitch tonight and had fingers crossed we would reach the mythical 50 points.

Little chance now.

Devastating news - especially as he has really hit top form over the last few games.

Our strength and conditioning team need looking at urgently, every season we pick up a myriad of serious injuries to our squad. It can't just be bad luck.

Ahh this is devastating news! Wish him a speedy recovery! Not to put a dampener in the works but this doesnt sound great at all! I do alot of distence running and I tore my achilles about 4 1/2years ago and was out for 10 months... Its still not 100% to this day, granted they have 1st class doctors and treatment so i hope for the best for him, the guy is a future star!

We do need to make sure we are right up there in fitness/physio and sports science. I don't know if we are, but the amount and length of injuries we have, particularly from training, seems to suggest we could improve in this area. Very annoying news. My immediate response was 'why always us?'!.
