Excuse me, can you tell me the way to Bury St.Edmund?

Sure, dig a big hole and shove him in it......

And do you know the way to San Jose?
Probably not via Tottenham anyway.

Edmund would be very close to St Andrew's day. Happy St. George's day. I remember when the shops used to close but can't remember when it stopped being an official holiday. St. George really got around.

I was thinking it may be Azerbaijan even these days, although I haven't looked it up. I think the legend was a town being ravaged by a dragon, the locals implore St George to deal with it but they are not Christians - there may be some kind of a deal. George beats the dragon half to death and catches it, drags it back to town and tells the locals he will let the dragon go if they don't convert. They become Christian and he slays the dragon. Those were the days.

Preferred the way Dennis Quaid & Pete Postlethwaite went about things . . .

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Maybe we should adopt Saint Patrick instead since he was born in Britain.

Ah Ok, sounds like there was plenty of opium being smoked, even in those days.

Bono slithered in somewhere. At least St. Patrick’s day is celebrated with massive booze-ups rather than largely ignored.
