I did post on another thread that now his national team trouble is over, he might improve. Considering how poor he has been this season, there is plenty of room for improvement.

He can’t pass and I feel a sense that something will go wrong when he gets the ball in his own half very average player at his best well past his best now

Admittedly nearly cost us a goal vs Everton the other night, but on the whole I think he (like PVA) is wrongly used as a scapegoat when things do not go well. You can just tell he cares as well, I think a lot more than some others.

I can't see any similarity with Jedinak at all, apart from the position. Jedinak actually broke up attacks and was a great tackler and L M bottles most challenges and breaks up absolutely nothing. He has been absolutely terrible for a couple of years now and offers nothing defensively or going forward. Ever since he started thinking of himself as a reincarnation of Pirlo, meaning pointlessly running backwards to receive a 2 yard pass from a defender and then trying to control the game. Only Pirlo was great at it in a team that allowed him to do that. Its like playing with 10 men every week. Im not saying he's turned into a terrible player but for me he's not a DM.

Serbia have binned him, even Roy wasn’t playing him when the two macs were fit. Now the penalties have dried up he gives us very little else apart from heart attacks the amount of times he gives the ball away

It's a Palace tradition.

He now makes a really bad mistake almost every game and seems to want forever on the ball regularly resulting in him giving possession away. As a character I think he's great, but as a footballer he has looked way off the pace for a lot of this season. I also question whether the downturn in his performances is also partly the reason we've been leaking so many goals, with the back four having less protection. The one good game I remember was the recent Man Utd 0-0 where he got inside Fernandes' head with constant off-the-ball niggles, but mostly he almost looks like he's on auto pilot these days.

The OP post you mean libel, slander is spoken.

Anyway Luka must accept criticism it goes with the territory.

He is a bit in and out but I wouldn't put it more than that.

Hoping for a dodgy VAR penalty award on Saturday that's one thing he does do 100%.

The way I read it he retired after he was dropped for the qualifiers.

Whichever way you look at it, he's no longer an international player.

So some of you say he can't pass.

Who was it then who picked up the ball just yards from the halfway line and threaded the ball to Schlupp who laid it off to Batman and into the net. A good bit of football and had it been KdB to Mahrez to Stirling and then into the goal the pundits would have been drooling.
